About

N.D. Wade writes mythic speculative fantasy about fate, memory, and the unseen architecture of reality. Her stories explore hidden worlds, buried truths, and the choices that shape who we become.

She holds a graduate degree from the University of Oxford and has spent much of her career working at the United Nations at the intersection of biodiversity, climate policy, and international affairs. That work continues to shape her fascination with complex systems, unseen connections, and the mysteries of the natural world.

Drawn to ancient myths, modern physics, and the human need for story, she writes fiction that combines the wonder of fantasy with the curiosity of science. She is currently completing her debut novel, To See the Stars Again, a mythic dark academia fantasy set between the University of Oxford and a hidden realm, where a young physicist investigating her parents’ mysterious past uncovers a secret woven into memory, fate, and the fabric of reality itself.

When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found reading fantasy and science fiction, dabbling in abstract painting and baking, and building elaborate Magnetile castles with her two young sons.
